Nhago is shorter than one might expect a Miqo'te to be - the smallest of her family. It seems almost unnatural. Appearance

Ulann is a tall Xaela woman by Auri standards, but on the small side for your normal Hyur, standing at a height of 5'2". Often seen with her long, black and red highlighted hair flowing down her back - bangs and fringe framing her soft-looking face rather nicely. The Auri holds an oceanic blue hue to her eyes, supported by a darker blue umbral ring - speckled dots sprawled out upon her cheeks and over the bridge of her nose seem to compliment such a colour.
Fair skin is home to blackened scales around her neck and along her sides which continue down until they stop just at her knees. A long, thin tail that barely moves except for when she walks, runs, or fights. Ulann typically sticks to clothing that reminds her of home - whether its just something casual, or even when she's on a job, though she does have a mixed variety of outfits to choose from.
Whether its the presence of a katana, a set of daggers, or a single halberd, Ulann is almost always carrying some sort of weapon on her. For protection, and to always be ready for a job of any sort. And yes, she does know how to use all three of these - especially the katana and daggers.

Personality

Generally, Ulann is welcoming and inviting of new friends and faces as she likes to make friends with people. Despite her semi-rough exterior, this Xaela is a soft, and kind hearted woman. She doesn't show it often, but when she does you can tell that she cares and has a lot of love to give. Ulann, behind closed doors, is as sweet as a Xaela can be - yes, she may be a 'strong hearted warrior' but she's much more than that. [WIP]

At first glance, Hiun is a grumpy and rather unapproachable man, rarely offering more than a curt response or an unimpressed look. He has little patience for needless chatter, foolishness, or people who insist on prying into matters that he considers none of their business. His reserved nature often makes him difficult to read, as he keeps his thoughts and feelings carefully guarded rather than allowing others an easy glimpse behind his expression.Despite his harsh exterior, however, there is a genuinely caring nature hidden beneath the irritation. He simply has a rather poor way of expressing it. Rather than offering comforting words or openly displaying affection, he tends to show his concern through small, practical gestures; quietly tending to someone's wounds, making sure they have eaten, or wordlessly putting himself between them and danger. He may grumble the entire time, insisting that he's only helping because someone has to, but his actions tend to betray the truth.He's particularly protective of those he has grown close to, though he would be reluctant to admit just how much they mean to him. An Occultist by profession, Hiun is first and foremost a practitioner of Thaumaturgy, specializing in the manipulation of destructive aether. His magic allows him to conjure spells to harm, but such power comes at a cost. The more aether he expends, the greater the strain on his body, leaving him fatigued, disoriented, or even injured if he pushes himself too far. Powerful or forbidden workings demand even more from him, making overcasting a dangerous last resort.His scythe serves as both his primary weapon and a casting implement, allowing him to channel magical energies through its blade. He can weave sweeping physical strikes together with bursts of destructive magic, using the weapon as an extension of his spellcasting while reducing some of the strain placed upon his body.Hiun's daggers, however, are better suited for close-quarters combat and subtlety. With them, he can channel aether through their blades, enhancing his strikes or placing lingering magical effects upon those they wound. They also provide him with a reliable means of fighting when his magical reserves are too depleted for sustained casting.Though Thaumaturgy remains the foundation of his craft, he has delved into the occult and forbidden practices. Incorporating curses, life-draining techniques, and other dangerous workings into his repertoire. Varina has long, nearly-white hair that falls down the length of her back, stopping at its middle. Blue eyes that are warm and welcoming are surrounded by long eyelashes. Her round face sports a small nose and plump, pillowy lips, faintly smiling.A small neck leads to a thin, short frame with slight curves to her figure. Varina maintains her body shape well enough to sport a tad bit of muscle on her slender body, mostly in her arms and legs. Though she's still quite slim given her magical nature.Complimentary outfits always hold tight to her form - unless what she's wearing is a free flowing robe. She tends to carry around a small satchel that houses various pockets and pouches - likely to hold some of her belongings - nothing of great importance, however.One might note a rather obvious scarring upon her face - a large one which starts on her left cheek, spreading inwards to her nose, and just a teensy bit upwards to her left eye. This is just one of the few markings upon her, however. Looking to her left forearm you'd see a larger - but patchier - scar of the same type. Both of which seem to originate from a burn, but from what is only something Varina would know, and she'd prefer to keep it that way.

Kind hearted, sweet and caring come to mind when someone mentions Varina. Always with a warm and welcoming smile to all those who approach her, yet despite that confident persona hides a very shy and reclusive natured girl. The hyur is bookish, and, the majority of the time, she tends to hum a tune - unfamiliar to those around that can hear her. Shy sometimes, but charismatic and confident the rest; Varina is a social butterfly when she wants to be.This Midlander is a very altruistic being, always wanting to spoil her friends in any way she can, as well as joking and teasing her close friends, but she still holds a calculative and contemplative nature for when she has to be more serious about things. Ocean hues dance about with idle curiosity, but she tends to stray away from larger crowds she doesn't need to be in.
